Originally from Chicago, Debra spent most of her life in Pinecrest, Coconut Grove, and Coral Gables. Her passion for the diverse Miami community and giving back is contagious once you meet her. Debra serves on the board of two nonprofit corporations,The Barnacle Society, which supports The Barnacle Historic State Park in Coconut Grove, and The Garden Fund, which supports Pinecrest Gardens. She also holds a private pilot’s license and is an avid skier and pickleball player.
Debra attended Northwestern University and FIU, and has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a master’sdegree in Biology. Before her career in real estate, she was anadjunct professor at FIU, a dental hygienist and co-founder of Captain Rick’s Gourmet Foods with husband Rick, a retired 747Captain. Family includes son Josh and Zoe, their Hungarian Vizsla.
