Kaitlyn Maitland, a Connecticut-born, London-raised, and now Florida resident, is no stranger to the intricacies of relocation. Having moved frequently from a very young age, Kaitlyn has a unique perspective on the importance of having a place to call “home”.
The experience of living overseas provided Kaitlyn an opportunity to encounter and appreciate individuals of various cultures and origins. Kaitlyn earned a distinct awareness on the impact of moving for the individual, as well as family unit. After 11 years abroad, Kaitlyn finished her secondary education in New York, and later came to Florida where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of Miami. The Public Health field allowed Kaitlyn to study a subject that rewarded her sincere compassion and understanding for others.
Applying her passion for helping others, Kaitlyn began working with the Miami-based non-profit, Live Healthy Little Havana. Quickly recognized for her diligence, competency, and meticulous attention to detail, Kaitlyn was promoted to Lead Coordinator of their Health and Housing Project. There, she served as a primary author on a project report, which aimed to advance affordable housing policies in the City of Miami through an in-depth study on local zoning restrictions. In doing so, she gained expertise in zoning requirements, building codes, local and state level housing laws, as well as a deep understanding of the housing market and factors that impact market conditions.
Kaitlyn’s fervent love for Miami’s cultural vibrancy inspired her to pursue a career in Real Estate. Provided her extensive personal experiences with relocation, at the domestic and international levels, she exemplifies the qualities of a Realtor that truly understands the gravity of the decision to sell, purchase, or leasing a home.
For Kaitlyn, honesty, loyalty, and dedication are her pledges to her clients. As such, having a deep understanding of her client’s expectations, desires, and needs are a top priority. Her personal commitments, as well as tactical knowledge on the local housing market, help her clients find or sell their homes at the right price. Considering homeownership is a key determinant of overall health and well-being, the best-interests of Kaitlyn’s clients are at the forefront of every decision and action she takes.
Kaitlyn would be honored to help you, your family, and friends through the events related to the sale, purchase, or rental of property in South Florida.
