A native of West Virginia and graduate of West Virginia University, Tammy Blake began her working life as a grocery store clerk in high school in a quaint, coal-mining town in Southern West Virginia.
After graduation, Tammy was fortunate to be hired into a Management-in-Training program for Sales and Marketing of the Marriott International Hotel Corporation. She was fortunate that her involvement in “group sales” afforded her travel, exposure and connections to hotels and resorts in Springfield, Washington DC, Boston, Key West, Ponte Verde Beach, Houston and other major US cities. While in San Diego, she was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing.
After so much travel, Tammy accepted a position in Fort Lauderdale, Florida as the Director of Association Sales of the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau. Thereafter, she met the love of her life and received an opportunity as the Regional Manager for Ritz Carlton resorts.
She and her fiancé now resided in Chicago. After many years of enduring the cold and windy winter months of the Midwest, Tammy, her husband and their two children relocated to Weston, Florida. She quickly immersed herself into her children’s schools, her growing church and her new and diverse community. She rolled up her sleeves and got involved in animal rescue groups.
Tammy and her husband located temporarily to the West Coast of Florida. Her children were now young adults, and it was now time for her to activate her Real Estate license that she had secured in 2006. She joined a dynamic team in an active office and serviced both buyers and sellers.
Longing for the lifestyle and beauty of the Weston community, Tammy and her husband decided to permanently move back. With her connections and familiarity of the area, Tammy placed her license with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty because of the amazing tools, trade practices and training.

Being an avid animal lover, Tammy started a pet-sitting business in 2016. Because of her love of animals, she donates a portion of her real estate fees to local rescue groups. “Many homeowners have pets and consider them family members. It is my pleasure to represent those individuals and treat their pets with tender-loving care.” Tammy and her husband reside in Weston with their two dogs, very cranky cat and a 25-year-old cockatiel.
