    Ed Hernandez joins Berkshire Hathaway Home Services/EWM with several years of experience in real estate, helping bring mixed use development projects to fruition. Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway/EWM, Mr. Hernandez enjoyed sixteen years working in government. Serving the public has been a passion for Mr. Hernandez. He always put the public’s needs before all others. That same mentality and passion has transferred to his real estate practice.

    Mr. Hernandez believes that his clients’ needs are first and foremost. He believes in providing his clients with the ultimate customer service experience. He is always available for his clients, providing excellent service with a personal touch. He takes pride in providing the most accurate information available, and aggressively advocates for his clients’ best interests.     Mr. Hernandez holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Barry University. He was a member of the Florida International University President’s Council, past member and past Chairman of the Miami-Dade Commission on Human Rights, past member of Biscayne Bay Regional Restoration Coordination Team, and Past Member of the Pro Bowl & Super Bowl XLIV Clean Up and Super Saturday Partner Committee. He has received service awards for his involvement in the Florida’s Deepwater Oil Spill Response, and several Bravo awards from his colleagues. Mr. Hernandez has attended multiple speaking engagements with public organizations, environmental groups, governmental meetings, community organizations, and schools including panel discussion at UM Water Ethics Conference, and the Miami Dade College Environmental Symposium, spoken before several community groups, and participated in several interviews with local and national media outlets (Interviews: English and Spanish local TV, NPR, and Comcast with Spiro Canto).
