Steve has spent the past eighteen years in the hospitality industry. During that time he has worked in a number of positions including various leadership roles which were always customer facing. As a sales associate, Steve learned that the main focus was to delight the customer. In his leadership positions as General Manager, restaurant manager, beverage director, and floor manager, Steve learned the managerial side of the business and balancing profitability with a world-class customer experience.
Much of the work on the customer-facing end involved direct client relations, prospecting for future clients, and forecasting of sales. Steve’s success in this business and the reason for his various promotions over the years were due to his drive and thirst for knowledge. The hospitality industry is constantly changing, either due to cooking trends, the arrival of new wine varietals, or innovative promotions that drive brand awareness, having a pulse on these trends created fruitful and gratifying work. With all of that being said nothing matters unless one has keen customer service skills. The customer experience can enhance an already great product, it can also save the not so savory. Steve sold memorable experiences daily with passion about the client and the products. Commitment from start to finish with the client will always end beneficial.
Steve grew up in Michigan which helped form his dedication to hard work and enthusiasm. Taking that strong foundation to Chicago for ten years helped further his career and shape his knowledge on outstanding customer experience. Having spent time in the greater New York area, Steve really experienced how perseverance and patience can help one achieve great success. Miami is where Steve is bringing it all together and joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeService at EWM Realty.
