Fluent In: English, Spanish
Magali Iglesias, a sea lover, decided to purchase her current residence in Mid Miami Beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean 25 years ago. All her life she has pursued the waterfront living, from the frigid waters of Lake Michigan in Chicago, to the cold waters of the Pacific Ocean in Carmel, CA, to the murky waters of the Hudson river in NYC to finally, the warm aqua/emerald/blue waters of Miami Beach, ahhhhhh!
Her ancestors were from the fiery North Atlantic coast of Galicia, from where they joined the many that set sail for America, specifically for Cuba. She was born there, surrounded by the warm tropical waters of the Caribbean. 90 miles later, she arrived in Miami to start the adventure of the immigrant life. And quite an exciting life it has been! She speaks fluent English and Spanish. She loves languages and got her masters in English language, majoring in Applied Linguistics. She has worked in the most prestigious publishing houses in the USA: Scott, Foresman and Co, HarperCollins, Pearson, Harcourt, Brace, Jovanovich, and finally the oldest publisher in the USA, John Wiley & Sons. All the while, she has dabbed into real estate business in the different cities she has lived, buying, selling, and renting her own properties. Real estate has been her second passion all along!
She made real estate her primary passion five years ago in the exciting and ever-changing area of Miami Beach, her forever home now. This can be considered more like her playground than her farming area. She knows Miami Beach inside out: its history and developments, its neighborhoods, its people and their needs, its ins-and-outs, its transient character so conductive to great real estate, its playful beach life during the day and its vibrant and exciting nightlife. Miami Beach is the true city that doesn’t sleep. And you might be able to find Magali joining this vibrant parade at Faena’s The Living Room, or Baoli, or Delano’s the Doheny Room or the Rose Bar, or just enjoying a very happy hour at The Forge, just across from EWM’s Miami Beach office. And while enjoying what the greater Miami Beach has to offer, she meets clients and acts as the spoke person for this unique city that she loves deeply.
Real estate is so natural to Magali! She is always “on,” looking for those connections “people-properties.” She is known as the “connector,” since she is always trying to connect the right people with the dream property, be it a purchase or a rental. Her success in real estate is based on her high values and ethics, and respect and consideration for everyone, be it a client or another realtor. She is a great listener and mental note-taker of the specific needs of her clients. She does her detailed research and always finds that dream property. That’s the reason she has such a big following. Her clients become her friends. They trust Magali, therefore, they recommend her. Most of her listings are obtained through referrals from clients.
Magali is well-informed about the real estate trends and market situations. She is alert to all the political environment and happenings that affects the real estate market, specifically the Miami Beach market. She participates in most City of Miami Beach meetings to keep abreast of the different proposals and laws affecting construction developments, repairs, building plans, traffic betterment measures and any proposals coming from the city. She can translate what any approved proposal will mean to the real estate market. This helps her predict the changes in the market and be prepared and help her clients be prepared.
Magali is a member of several organizations; social, cultural, trade, humane, political. She contributes any free time she has to the betterment of Miami Beach, and to helping with animal protection issues. She is an animal lover, and cats own her heart!
Above all, Magali is very professional. Having done many sales and rentals successfully, you will be very satisfied with her services.
