Jay W. Gould

I was born into a funeral service family in Virginia and have called Miami my home since 1978. It was in that very funeral service environment that I learned the true meaning and value of "service" which has made me successful in the real estate business. Since 1980, my main residence has been in The Falls area with a residence in Miami Beach as well. I have been a Realtor since 1987. Investment acquisitions have fortunately worked out extremely well for me. My experience in real estate investments have helped my customers draw from my knowledge to make their own successful investments.My educational background is varied, with a degree in the aforementioned funeral service, undergraduate studies in various languages resulting in a proficiency in French and Spanish, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Florida International University.My best education has been extensive travel. I have been fortunate enough to have circled the globe several times in less than 80 days. Experiences such as having tea with the Berbers in Morocco and trekking with the locals in Nepal at the foot of Mount Everest have provided invaluable insight into the varied cultures of the world. These experiences have made me more aware and sensitive to people's individual concerns and needs.Giving back to the community is an integral part of my "service" theory.I presently sit on the Board of South Miami Hospital Associates and am President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Miami Beach. I strive to do the best possible job for my customers on an individual basis and, at the same time, do my part in helping this community continue to be the best it can be.
