After being born in London, my family and I transitioned to the sunnier side of South Florida. I grew up on historic La Gorce Drive up until graduating high school from Ransom Everglades. I remember taking weekly drives in my MG roadster to first street beach. I would surf there on my time off from school always admiring the art deco architecture that flowed up the sides of the city. Following high school, I was accepted to University of Glasgow’s Adam Smith Business School. Returning to the UK after living on Miami Beach was hard but academically beneficial and expanded my horizons. Glasgow grew my interest in architecture as it embodied its own industrial and gothic style must of which is accredited the famous designer Charles Macintosh. With what it lacked in beaches it made up for with a creative climate. For me, it influenced my extracurricular involvement in the cities art school. I went onto spend four years in Scotland studying economics and business management. This time however, made me appreciate the Miami weather and overall atmosphere even more. After receiving my degree, I wanted to return to Miami and showcase what I had picked up internationally. I recognized my love for design and my degree could coincide under the real estate profile. This pushed me to receive my real estate license and join the Nancy Batchelor team.
