Some transactions require more involvement than others. In this particular sale there were many moving parts. It took experience and a greater depth of understanding the intricacies of the industry to get this sale to the closing table. I represented the sellers of this property on this transaction who happened to have started the entire process with two homes to sell, and one to purchase together. Upon discussing my customers’ needs and figuring out the logistics on how to effectively sell their two current properties and find them their future home together without leaving them homeless in the process, we strategically sold one property first prior to placing this home on the market. We then sold this one, and worked out a post-occupancy agreement with the purchasers so that my customers would not have to spend any time in a hotel or a relative’s home between the sale of this second property and their future residence. To add an additional layer of complexity, the purchasers of this home closed on the sale of their home prior to closing on this one, and worked out a post-occupancy agreement themselves to accommodate my sellers.
