Spencer started his real estate career at Fortune International Realty giving him an opportunity to work directly with one of Key Biscayne's top producing real estate teams. In December of 2012 he left Fortune to join EWM Realty International, an exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Realty - a Berkshire Hathaway Company.
Prior to relocating to South Florida Spencer worked for various Internet startups in San Francisco and Silicon Valley before taking a position in Radio and Internet sales and marketing.
Spencer left the Bay Area after being recruited to work in Manhattan as director of programming for a boutique television startup, Plum TV, a network of stations providing original local and national programming aimed at the residents and visitors to the resort destinations of Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, Aspen, Vail, Telluride, Sun Valley and Miami Beach. He was involved with many different aspects of the business and reported directly to the President and Founders of the Network. During that time he co-produced a real estate marketing program showcasing some of the Hampton’s most unique and interesting estates.
By frequently networking at Miami social and fundraising events Spencer is constantly interacting with the top brokers and buyers in the real estate community and using his far-reaching national and international contacts to ensure the most visibility for his clients properties.
Utilizing his sales and marketing background in online advertising and marketing he continues to grow his contact-base through social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Vimeo, Youtube, LinkedIn and blogging about real estate trends and developments on his own websites spencerraymond.com and kbcondos.com.
Before moving to the Brickell area he spent many years on Key Biscayne where his family relocated from the Northeast over 20 years ago. His brother teaches locally on the Key, and Spencer has an extensive working knowledge of the island as well as South Florida's most exclusive neighborhoods.
With 20 years of sales experience and prior positions with two internet startups selling online advertising he brings tenacity, perseverance and bottom line focus in executing deals for his clients.
