Sandra Knows . . .
The Challenges of Relocating --
When it comes to moving, Sandra Rathe knows far too well how challenging relocating your entire family can be. Her last move several years ago was to South Florida from Illinois. “Our last experience buying our South Florida home was less than stellar. It started me thinking about how I might better serve this industry and the people who have come to depend on it.”
The Value of Management, Marketing and Money --
Sandra Rathe has an impressive educational and professional background. She first graduated with High Distinction with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Immediately following graduation she earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certificate. Only 5 years later she earned her second degree, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), again, with high honors.
Her career began as an auditor for Price Waterhouse in Washington DC. After relocating to Illinois, Sandra then shifted to corporate accounting and marketing for Caterpillar. Following another relocation she began a career at Pratt & Whitney where she fast tracked to a highly sought after controller position. During this time she was responsible for all financial activities of entities located in New York, Georgia, Connecticut and Israel. “This was an outstanding experience. I was able to manage people across the globe while controlling costs and negotiating sales contracts to surpass our corporate goals.”
The Importance of Family Life and Community --
For a short period Sandra left the corporate world to enjoy time at home with her three small children. During this time Sandra was actively involved in the Junior Women’s Club where she raised funds for and oversaw the installation of a new community park, as well as involvement in many smaller projects.
Investment Properties and Owners’ Rights --
Sandra has always had a strong interest in real estate. During her years at home she took the opportunity to invest in properties in Florida which she continues to market and manage. She has taken an active role in the community to protect the property rights of owners such as herself. “I have stood before city councilmen on more than one occasion to protect the rights of owners of rental properties in Cocoa Beach. I met these challenges head on and lead twenty-four owners to a favorable ruling.”
The Horses --
Sandra has a strong love for horses. Growing up in Massachusetts, she competed up and down the east coast in hunter jumper, AHSA Medal, ASPCA Maclay and USET classes. As an adult she has continued to buy, sell and train horses. She has owned horse property and understands the needs of horse owners.
The Power of Great Beginnings --
Once Sandra’s children began school, she decided to take her love of real estate to a new level and became a licensed real estate agent as well as a member of her local Board of Realtors. Her love for real property and smart investments make her the professional you want on your side. With a great understanding of the value of money, the ability to provide progressive analysis on your investment, and the ability to compile a smart marketing plan, Sandra will help you in making the best possible real estate decisions.
“It is important that I start out on the right foot with my clients. I want to be that different-kind-of-professional who always communicates in the manner suitable to my clients.”
Sandra will surprise you with her enthusiasm, professionalism and eagerness to assist you. If you, or someone you know, are looking to buy or sell residential, equestrian, investment or commercial property, she would love to hear from you.
