Richard has been a realtor since he moved from New York City to Miami in 1996. He decided that in his new home he would morph 20 years of marketing experience into a career as top producing realtor. Since he was privileged to the cosmopolitan Manhattan lifestyle he found that condos would be his specialty in Miami Beach. During his twenty years selling the Beach he transacted well over 100 sales… and many more rentals. He believed so much in real-estate that he came to buy 18 apartments for himself in some top condo buildings: Floridian, Mirador, Arte City. Bently Bay, Belle Plaza, Island Terrace, Ocean Point etc. All of the properties he bought he designed and supervised up- grades and renovations. So he became expert at knowing what upgrades would cost a buyer as well as what assets a sellers property were worth. He also became very knowledgeable at what condos had a history of responsible management and integrity of condo board government… which is something so important but rarely considered by buyers. The Brokers he worked under were EWM, Keyes Company, Carson Realty Group and Global Luxury Realty. His 20 years in the advertising business in New York gave him a keen eye for appealing photos and graphics as well as compelling description and sell copy. As the years went by marketing has grown more important and web marketing is the name of the game. He has kept up with the important technology which gave savvy realtors the advantage in the industry.
Now in 2016 he realizes that the best opportunities are in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Miami has greatly slowed down but he thinks Broward is where the boom is headed. Ft. Lauderdale is what Miami Beach was 20 years ago. He has brought his 20/20 view to his new home on Galt Ocean Drive. 20 years of valuable marketing experience in New York City and 20 year of real estate expertise in Miami Beach should be quite valuable to those who wish to reside or invest in Miami Dade or Broward.
