Jason Kapit is a veteran of the law and securities trading industries.

He transitioned into the real estate arena and works diligently representing an expansive client base, ranging from the new-home buyer to builder/developers looking for exclusive sales representation.

Jason is affiliated with Berkshire Hathaway’s EWM Realty International, Christie's International Real Estate (CIRE) and is a member of the The Florida Bar (Arts, Entertainment & Sports Law section, EASL), Master Brokers Forum (invitation-only) and Chairman’s Club Diamond Level, reserved for the Top 1/2 of 1% of all Realtors nationally.

Stats, Listings, Exclusive Representation

For 2013, Jason sold 50% of all homes in Parkland priced above $2 Million Dollars.

For 2014, he has recorded the majority of record-breaking residential sales in Coral Springs ($1.63M), Parkland ($1.66M), and Southwest Ranches ($5.53M). He is also the exclusive listing agent for the posh, ultra-luxury Landmark Ranch Estates community in Southwest Ranches, recently in the news for selling Pietra D'Oro 10,000sf spec for a record-breaking $5.53M.

For 2015, the flurry has already begun. With 19 exclusive listings, 2 developers and over $50 Million Dollars of inventory, his "dance card" is filled. With momentum setting the tone, a collaborative effort announced by Custom By LandmarkAffiniti Architects and Shuster Design Associates, on a $7.4M, 12,400sf tropical contemporary masterpiece has officially broken ground on Lot 22.  Marson Development, custom builders from Aventura, have migrated North and have several custom homes in development in the Southwest Ranches area of which Kapit is representing.

With his new office at 1700 East Las Olas Boulevard, Kapit is also preparing for mega-listing opportunities in East Fort Lauderdale, notably throughout Las Olas and the surrounding areas.

Kapit specializes in the residential high-end space within Broward County.  He is routinely quoted and interviewed by editors from The Real Deal, South Florida Business Journal and the Daily Business Review. He has also appeared on numerous panels as an expert in the luxury residential market, most recently at The Real Deal's Custom Homebuilding Forum and the Daily Business Review's Commercial Lending Conference hosted at the JW Marriott on Brickell. He provides a range of marketing for his clients including: a massive Internet presence (FortLauderdaled.com), PR campaigns via Kreps DeMaria, international print & online media advertising through CIRE and Mayfair affiliates, professional HD/drone/copter photography and so much more. “My clients want to know that their real estate affairs are handled. Negotiation

Tactfully out-negotiating anyone and everyone. Most importantly, he is NOT exclusive to just one geographical area. His reasoning – “It’s all about my clients and what they need. My clients live all over South Florida. If a client needs me to list their home, geography and logistics can always be worked out. My clients want me, period. They trust my work ethic, my legal background (to wade through potential hiccups, pretenders, fraud, etc.), the attention to detail and ultimately the end result.

Family & Background

Jason has been married to Mindy, a pre-law teacher at American Heritage School, for 16 years.  They have two children and currently reside in Southwest Ranches. He grew up in Hollywood, attended Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood Hills High, ultimately graduating from the University of Florida and Mississippi Law.
