I arrived in Miami from Colorado to fly for Eastern Airlines a long time ago! Coconut Grove was still a village and I fit right in, having somehow been lucky enough to discover it for my new home.
I married a good man from Miami Beach and we have a beautiful grown daughter now, although we are not married anymore. I am happy being single, working in a career I love, and doing pretty much whatever I want when the urge hits me.
I have practiced Yoga regularly for many years, and credit it for my general happiness, health, and prosperity! I also teach privately or whenever my teachers need a replacement. Maybe I'll see you in practice someday!
Namaste!
With more enthusiasm than skill, and some talented ‘ringers’ enlisted for the cause, the Coconut Grove EWM office beat the Coldwell Banker Grove team 18-1 on Saturday January 24! We just couldn’t be stopped and proved again how we bowl over any competition in any situation! Jim Haas took one for the team when he fell [...] Read full article »
Yoga is gaining popularity and converts all across the globe, and we are fortunate to have so many well-staffed and accessible studios in Miami and Miami Beach. Do yoga, my friends. There is nothing that compares to the benefits it offers. If you feel you have contraindications check with your doctor; it is truly rare that yoga won’t help whatever ails you! I found yoga when it was introduced in my gym a few years ago and instantly knew my days of pumping [...] Read full article »
To those who know, the north end of Coconut Grove is the very best location in Miami! One of the quietest and safest neighborhoods is Bay Heights, a community whose walls once enclosed the gardens that provided fruits and vegetables for Viscaya Gardens. This home, on an interior street, was built in 1959 and has had [...] Read full article »
I love what I do. I love the hunt – whether it’s working to entice a buyer or searching for that ‘just right’ home for the couple I met at Kennedy Park in Coconut Grove. Long before this became my career I was visiting open houses on Sundays. I may have been a voyeur at [...] Read full article »
One thing that almost stopped me from using my Real Estate license was the idea that to be successful I had to push people into buying homes. I got my license at the time when “Realtor” was almost universally synonymous with “used-car salesman”, and I just couldn’t imagine me doing something that felt so [...] Read full article »
As the heavy machinery moved into the bayfront park just a few doors down the street from my listing, the sellers and I decided it was time to take the house off the market for a while. Getting to the property hasn’t been easy for some months, but with the “improvement” happening virtually at the [...] Read full article »
